Arrow 2008 Upgrades - News

We are planning an upgrade of IRIS Express early in 2008, and are looking at including the following improvements:
  1. Upgrade all accounts to PayPal Express Checkout for a better experience for your customers
  2. Enhanced integration of the forum into the product including using a single username and password for both to make the forum easier to use
  3. Increased number of ticket types (adult, child, donation etc.) per event
  4. Option to add booking fees per booking or per ticket or both
  5. Option to remove all 3rd party advertising and pay a small annual subscription instead
If there are other improvements that you would like to see, or one or more of these (because we may not be able to do them all) are really important to you, then please let us know.

Thumbs up Upgrade completed 7am this morning

We completed the upgrade this morning with only a few minutes downtime. the new features that have gone live are:
  • PayPal Express Checkout - improved and shorter purchase process for your customers
  • Booking Fee Support - add per ticket or per event charges to your pricing
  • Help and Discussion Forum Integration - your account username and password gets you access to your account and to the forum too and is on your menu bar as an icon
If there are any issues, then let us know in the forum.

Removal of Advertising - when and how much!

Hi there - just getting started with the express version, but would be keen to remove the advertising from my pages and emails - but don't yet need the full kiosk solution you provide.

Is the option to remove advertising coming soon, and if so do you know when and how much?

Thanks

Rob

Next upgrade....

Hi there Rob. The next upgrade is in planning, and we hope to have it out in April. In terms of the price for removing the advertising, we were thinking about an annual subscription of £250 pa. How does that sound?

Removal of Advertising - any news yet...

Hi there,
Have a client who really wants to use this - but we would need to remove advertising - any news on whether this is happening yet?

Thanks

Rob

Next upgrade....

No firm date yet.
Interim upgrade to change the way that we worked with PayPal to improve the user experience just happened, and has pushed things back a little. Looks like a couple of months to the next upgrade from here.

Summer upgrade expected

Well, it looks like we will be doing an upgrade in later this summer.

Key change will be adding an option to remove the 3rd party advertising in exchange for paying an annual subscription fee.

More when nearer to the upgrade date.

Voucher Option

Is there any way I can add the ability to use a promotional code to receive a discounted ticket price.

Cheers

There is no function on ts express which allows for the use of promtion codes. This is however something which is available on other ts products. More info is available on http://www.ts.com/solutions or by contacting Info@ts.com.

There is a work around for this, which is to setup a separate kiosk. You can the put the same events on in your new kiosk but adjust the pricing of the tickets sold. This is not a direct substitue as it will make reporting on the event more difficult.
